Fall Equinox & Astrology

The Fall Equinox begins the season of autumn in the northern hemisphere: the moment when the sun appears to cross the celestial equator, heading southward; regularly, the fall equinox occurs nearby September 22-September 24, varying slightly each year agreeing to the 400-year cycle of leap years in the Gregorian Calendar.

In 2005, Fall Equinox arrived on the cusp of Virgo/Libra, on September 22 at 22:23 hours, thus we need to give a supervene up to the projects we started during the last Spring Equinox. This supervene up is a seasonal time for balance and harmony, because, agreeing to astrology, during the Fall Equinox, the Sun will enter 0 degrees Libra, the Air sign of balance in astrology. The emblem of Libra in astrology brings the fall Equinox in the northern hemisphere whilst bring the Spring Equinox to the southern hemisphere. Astrology uses a scale to recite the house of Libra, meaning a balance of light and dark.

Earth Virgo

Let me give you a coarse explanation about equinoxes... The word "equinox" was derived from Latin term that plainly means "equal night", a thought which is good demonstrated looking that the night has the same distance than the day. For measuring the distance of a day, sunrise is the moment when the sun is half-above the horizon and sunset is the moment when the sun is half-under the horizon.

But day and night are not exactly of equal distance during the March and September equinoxes. The dates when daytime and nighttime are each 12 hours occur a few days before and after the equinoxes. The specific dates of this occurrence are dissimilar for dissimilar latitudes.

During the equinoxes, the Earth's auric or magnetic field is affected by the Sun's alignment with the Earth's equator. Twice each year, at the equinoxes (Spring/March & Fall/September), the Sun rises and sets exactly over the equator remaining intimately aligned there for roughly 48 hours.

When the Fall Equinox occurs, the life-force or universal power on our planet changes. The balance and alignment energies coming with the Fall Equinox make it a great time to manifest, meditate, pray. We can reflect on whether we have assuredly planted the seeds we intended and have nurtured them to fruition. We can refocus our concentration on what we truly want to manifest and then originate the right atmosphere or attitude to bring it about.

Some synonyms in astrology:

Fall equinox = 1st day of Autumn,

For those who live in the northern hemisphere, this is when the sun of God is crucified on the solar cross of the ecliptic and celestial equator, and then descends into the "underworld"(southern hemisphere).

For those who live in the southern hemisphere, this is when the sun of God is crucified on the solar cross and then begins its ascension into heaven on the 3rd day of their spring.

The equinox solar supervene reduces the magnetic field of the Earth, allowing us to connect our souls with other dimensions or doorways. Equinox is also one of the best seasons for connecting with Earth's sacred sites, like:

The Chaco Canyon in New Mexico, Usa, is some sort of equinox corridor within its complex. This corridor marks the equinox Sunrise, tracks the Sun's journey straight through the sky, and then marks the equinox Sun set.

The Chichén Itza pyramids. The ancient Mayans constructed the pyramid of Chichén Itza, which displayed dissimilar patterns of triangles of light during solstice and equinox. On Fall Equinox, seven triangles of light come to be descriptive on the stairway of the Mayan pyramid.

Few Fall Equinox Holidays

Fall Equinox Day is an valid national holiday in the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan, and is spent honoring Japanese family burial place, and meeting together.

In the United Kingdom Harvest festival falls nearby the Fall Equinox.

The Fall Equinox is also known as the Pagan holiday, Mabon (Wiccan Sabbat). It is on this day that Pagans celebrate balance, the harvest season and Thanksgiving. On the Autumn Equinox, food, such as dried vegetables, is offered back to the Earth in a gesture of thanks for all that the Earth has supplied in the past season.

Houses of Astrology - 3rd House

Keywords are all the time a good thing when learning anyone new or, in coming to understand or illustrate something you intuitively know. The 3rd house in Astrology has the phrase: I think - therefore I am. It's all about awareness, positive or negative mental for this is the house of the known mind and you have a four little window of occasion (more about this thought later in another article). Planets or aspects to the 3rd bring all of the above (and more) into focus. The sign on the cusp (or, more categorically the element of the sign) will give you an idea as to how think. For example a Fire sign on the cusp of the 3rd would 'think' differently than a Water sign. Also, the sign on the cusp will tell you how you 'hear' data from the world colse to you, from your environment.

This house also shows your connection with siblings (not the actual people) but your connection with them. Any planets here (particularly Saturn) offer data about whether brothers and sisters are close or at a distance. Short distance travel is also shown by this house (sometimes even the preference or mode of transport) for example: Fire signs prefer road travel. Earth signs prefer rail. Air signs obviously prefer (or fear) air travel and the Water signs have a preference for water journeys. Formal schooling (or the lack thereof) is shown here therefore questions of schooling (particularly primary) will come to the surface. Look to the sign on the cusp and any planets here to understand your early formative' years.

Earth Virgo

How we think about ourselves and the world in which we live is enduringly changing by the population we meet, the newspapers we read, the television programmes we watch (all of which is 'ruled' by the 3rd house). Keeping in mind that we are enduringly creating an image of ourselves (good or bad) according to what we focus our mind upon. Even the population you meet at the bus stop can change your mental dramatically or, when you're on a 'short trip' the stimulus from a separate environment can alter your mental as can reading a good or uplifting book (taking a short trip into your mind). Even an idea shared on a blog site such as Twitter can alter your mental and who was it that said "change your mental and you change your life"?

Take a look at your own chart for even if there are no planets in the 3rd the sign on the cusp will nevertheless give you some idea as to all of the above (and more) if you look for the ruler of the cusp on your chart. Let me explain: If Virgo was the 'ruler' of your 3rd house you would look at your chart to see where Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) was placed. This will help you understand how you think, what you think about, and your connection with the environment in which you live (remembering the mind is an 'environment').

This is the house of the known mind and it is here that you look for or, observe all closely connected factors in your life, look for connections. observe your skills, your talents and your coarse sense (or lack thereof). The sign on the cusp or planets contained in this house will tell you how organized or disorganized you are. Or, if you take a closer look you'll observe ways (from the sign on the cusp or planets contained here) to become great organized. This is using Astrology for your empowerment for each and every new of us needs some sort of organization, structure or routine in our daily lives for remember this house rules the everyday, the local, the neighborhood, the population you meet on the street, in the shops and how you quote with them. In talking about this keyword, how they (or how you comprehend them to) quote with you...

When any planet transits this house and the Sun does so every year at the same time (roughly three months after your birthday) it's time to acquire facts, to plan ahead and quote your ideas to your best advantage. It's time to be flexible, to negotiate and discuss your ideas for the road ahead. The signs in order from Aries to Pisces can help you understand whether you are positive (assertive) or negative (passive) in your thinking. Aries is considered positive with Taurus negative, Gemini positive with Cancer negative and so on colse to the signs. This is not to say that they're positive or negative in the suitable sense but their style of thinking.

Until we observe the next house - "happy house hunting"
